OUR STORY

Started by a few mates whilst out the back of the lineup surfing, why not start brewing beer? Sunshine Brewery and Gizzy Gold were birthed in 1989 and still serving up some of the best craft lagers in the country. If lager is not your thing, choose from our giant selection of core range and seasonals with 24 revolving taps.

What sets us apart?

We are New Zealand's oldest independent craft brewery. We are a small local brewery, in the sunny provincial town of Gisborne on the East Cape.
