OUR STORY

Ship Hop was started in 2016 by a group of local lads keen on beer. In 2024 it was bought by another group of lads also keen on beer. It is Timaru’s only micro craft brewery situated in the historic Turnball Building in the heart of Timaru.

What sets us apart?

We are the only small-scale brewery in Timaru.

Most Famous Style?

Killswitch IPA at 7.1% is a fan favourite as well as our easy drinking Hazy IPA.
