OUR STORY
Born out of a love for great beer and amazing food the idea of a brewpub in our hometown of Lyttelton was hatched. A few years later the dream became reality, and the journey commenced.
What sets us apart?
We pride ourselves on being amazing hosts, we love sharing our venue with the local community and people from afar. Whether it be for a Sunday drink with friends or a family meal our brewery has it all. Great views of the harbor from our rooftop bar or the balcony where you can watch the day pass by. The recipe is simple at Eruption, lovely people, amazing food and of course we think our beer is some of the best around!
Most Famous Style?
Our Pyroclastic Haze NEIPA is the big beer in the line-up, a big, full bodied, juicy tropical hazy that looks like orange juice in a pint glass, silky smooth and full of flavor. It's closely by the Volcanist IPA, our brewer Scotty thinks that one is the best!
