How we started
Two Thumb Brewing Co. was bought by two tykes from Yorkshire, Dave Dixon and Mark Limber in 2017. In 2022 Andrew Annable joined as a third co-owner. Two Thumb Brewing Co. has gained popularity over the last five years, by providing craft beer enthusiasts with small batch brewed beer on supermarket shelves and on tap at their current brew bar. Two Thumb Brewing Co. signed the lease on a new big brewery and new venue in April 2022 at 380 Colombo Street, Christchurch.
What sets us apart
Our brewers, Dave Dixon and Alex Grimshaw brew a wide variety of core and seasonal craft beer as well as a variety of hand pull beer that show off the wonderful flavours and aromas of the locally sourced malts and NZ hops. We have two venues that offer a venue for a quick drink after work, a few drinks over the weekend with live music or a night out on the town and this is what sets us apart. We make sure to enjoy a pint of each new beer release with our locals and get their craft beer opinion on each beer we brew!
