OUR STORY
Our unique building was lovingly constructed in 2015 but built to look like it's been here for years! Using mainly recycled materials, many of which were salvaged from earthquake damaged buildings, The Laboratory oozes rustic charm & cosy vibes.
What sets us apart?
We are one of the few venues in NZ with traditional Cask Conditioned Ale straight from the hand pull, and it’s brewed right here onsite. Our unique venue is filled with gems including our collection of old radios in the snug, coppers for hanging lights, anglepoise lamps and bone handled knives.
Most Famous Style?
Our micro-brewery produces our core flagship beers including our Cask Conditioned Lincoln Best Bitter while having the flexibility to run experimental & fun one-off brews.
